Pilot of Mazinger. aside from the fact that he drives a gigantic robot for a living, he is a normal teenager, as the series progresses we see him become more responsible, and become a man. He likes Sayaka, although he never shows it, and his little brother Shiro is always looking up to him. His best friend is Boss, and at the end of the series he defeats the evil Dr. Hell.

Dr.Yumi

Dr.Yumi is a mild mannered man, very wise, and careful in taking decisions, he is the head of the Photoatomic research laboratory, and was an apprentice of Dr. Kabuto "Koji's Grandfather" . Dr.Yumi is Sayaka's father, and the creator of Afrodai A, and other subsequent female robots from the series. Dr.Yumi makes Mazinger Z even stronger by giving him the ability to fly, by creating the Scrander, he is always koji's advisor when the robot is engaged in a fight.
